Search Enging Optimization – Keyword analysis and Landing Pages

The Starting Point we had

The company previously had no knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO). The existing website was a static, out-of-the-box solution with limited editing options. This led to poor ranking for the relevant search terms in German, while in foreign languages no visibility was achieved at all. In addition, the contact enquiries generated via the website were extremely rare, with only 2-3 enquiries per month.

The Potential we saw

The potential was obvious: both visibility and visitor numbers were to be significantly increased through targeted search engine marketing measures.
The agreed goal was to significantly increase the number of enquiries received via the web form in the long term. The website was also to be optimised technically and content-wise so that it would be attractive for both search engines and human visitors and offer real added value.

The Measures we took

Our activities began with the initiation of a comprehensive keyword research and analysis. We then had a ranking compiled for 120 keywords and a comparative analysis carried out in relation to competitors.

We searched for and registered a domain that would later also enable international SEO and then worked with an agency to develop a completely new website at short notice, initially as a one-pager. We actively took care of the communication between the SEO optimisers and web designers.

After the website was later expanded to several content pages, we created landing page texts for the 120 keywords. We also set up access for Google Search Console and Analytics. We had monthly reports prepared on various SEO criteria and used this data to make continuous content and technical adjustments to the website. We have been supporting the ongoing optimisation and reporting for eight years now.

The Particular Challenges we faced

Es gab bestimmte Keywords, die für unseren Kunden von besonderer Bedeutung waren, jedoch auch stark umkämpft waren. Gemeinsam mit unserer Partnerfirma haben wir gezielte Maßnahmen ergriffen, um diese Keywords besonders intensiv zu pushen und eine optimale Platzierung in den Google-Suchergebnissen zu erreichen.

The Results we achieved

At the beginning, only 3 of the 120 keywords were in the top 3 rankings on Google, while only another 12 were in the top 10. Today (as of August 2024), 22 of these keywords are ranked in the top 3, and 53 more are in the top 10. This means that more than half of the previously selected keywords are now in the top 10 on Google! In addition, we have been able to keep the particularly important, but also highly competitive terms continuously in the 2nd to 4th positions on Google for five years now.

These ranking successes have led to a significant increase in website visits, both through a higher number of impressions as well as through an increased click-through rate. In combination with numerous other smaller SEO measures, the number of enquiries received via the contact form has increased significantly.
